How it works
What exactly is a personalised Asia itinerary?
- It is a day-by-day travel plan written specifically for your trip. We use the destination, trip length, cities, dates, travel group, budget, interests, accommodation and transport preferences you give us in the itinerary builder, and turn them into a structured plan covering every day of your holiday.
How do I get started?
- Open the Build My Itinerary page and answer the questions in order. You can move backwards at any time without losing your answers, and you review everything before submitting.
How long does it take to create my itinerary?
- Most personalised itineraries are prepared within 24 to 48 hours of your request being received. Longer 21 and 28-day trips covering several countries may take a little longer, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Do I need an account to use My Asia Itinerary?
- No. You do not need to register or create a password. You simply complete the questionnaire and provide an email address so we can send your finished itinerary.
Can I change my answers after I have started?
- Yes. Every step has a Back option, and the final review screen lets you jump straight to any section to edit it before you submit.
What's included
What is included in a personalised itinerary?
- A day-by-day plan for your whole trip, suggested daily structure and timings, the order in which to visit your chosen cities, transport suggestions between locations, recommended areas to stay for your budget, food and activity suggestions matched to your interests, and practical local notes.
What is not included?
- We do not book anything on your behalf. Flights, accommodation, tours, transfers, tickets, travel insurance and visas are not included and remain your responsibility. We also do not provide guaranteed pricing, as costs change constantly.
Do you recommend specific accommodation?
- We recommend areas and neighbourhoods that suit your budget style and travel group, along with example property types. We are not a booking agent, so you are free to book wherever you prefer.
Do you book or recommend flights?
- We do not book flights. Where a domestic flight is the sensible way to move between cities we will say so in your itinerary, but you book it yourself.
Will my itinerary include restaurant suggestions?
- Yes, where relevant. If you select food and local experiences as an interest we include more of them, including market areas, street-food districts and local specialities worth trying.
Free sample itinerary
What is the free sample itinerary?
- It is a complete three-day itinerary for one city or area, created instantly so you can see our format before buying. It requires no account, no email address and no payment.
How is the free sample different from a paid itinerary?
- The free sample covers three days in a single city and is not tailored to your dates, budget or interests. A paid itinerary covers your full 7, 14, 21 or 28-day trip across multiple cities and is written around your specific answers.
Can I use the free sample as my actual travel plan?
- You can absolutely use it for a short city break. For anything longer than a few days we recommend a full personalised itinerary so your pacing and transport are properly planned.
Trips, countries and cities
What trip lengths do you offer?
- We create 7, 14, 21 and 28-day itineraries. These lengths cover the vast majority of Asia trips and let us pace your route sensibly.
Which countries do you cover?
- We currently cover fifteen Asian destinations including Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, China and more. The full list appears in the destinations section of the homepage.
Which cities can I include?
- Each destination has a curated list of recommended cities and areas in the builder. The number you can select depends on your trip length: two for seven days, four for fourteen, six for twenty-one and eight for twenty-eight, so your trip stays realistic.
Can I request a multi-country trip?
- Each itinerary is built around one destination at a time. If you are combining countries, you can order more than one itinerary or mention it in the notes field and we will do our best to accommodate the route.
Can you plan a trip for a destination you do not list?
- Possibly. Email myasiaitinerary@gmail.com with the destination and dates and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Payments, downloads and refunds
How much does an itinerary cost?
- Pricing is based on trip length and is shown in full in the pricing section on the homepage. There are no subscriptions and no hidden fees.
How do I pay?
- Payment is taken securely at the point of ordering through our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
In what format will I receive my itinerary?
- As a PDF you can download, print and read offline. The free sample also downloads as a PDF.
Will my itinerary work on my phone or tablet?
- Yes. The PDF is designed to be readable on phones, tablets, laptops and in print, and works offline once downloaded — useful when you have no mobile data abroad.
What is your refund policy?
- Because itineraries are custom digital products created specifically for you, they cannot be returned once delivered. If your itinerary has not yet been created, or if it does not reflect the answers you gave, contact us and we will correct it or refund you.
Can I ask for changes after delivery?
- Yes. We will make reasonable adjustments to a delivered itinerary — for example a changed date or a swapped city — at no extra cost within a fair period after delivery.
Travel practicalities
Do you provide visa information?
- We may mention general visa considerations for context, but visa rules change frequently and depend on your nationality. Always confirm requirements with the official government source for your destination before travelling.
Do you arrange travel insurance?
- No. We strongly recommend that every traveller buys comprehensive travel insurance, but we do not sell or arrange it.
How do you handle transport between cities?
- Your itinerary suggests the most practical option for each leg — train, bus, ferry, domestic flight or private driver — based on the transport preferences you select in the builder.
Is Asia safe for independent travellers?
- The destinations we cover are popular with independent travellers, including solo travellers and families. Your itinerary includes practical local notes, and we recommend checking your government's current travel advice before you go.
Can you plan around dietary requirements or limited mobility?
- Yes. The builder includes a special requirements step covering dietary needs, limited walking, accessibility, travelling with children and more, and we plan around whatever you select.
How accurate are the budget estimates?
- We plan to the daily budget and budget style you select, and indicate typical cost levels. Actual prices vary by season, exchange rate and how far ahead you book, so treat all figures as guidance rather than quotes.
Do you plan for solo travellers, couples, families and groups?
- Yes. Your travel group type directly affects pacing, accommodation suggestions and activity choices.
